Training the Facilitators for Local Agenda 21
High quality courses and materials for the facilitators of Local Agenda 21 activities are developed in this project. The materials are tested through practical applications and subsequently improved during the project.
This EU pilot project is funded by the Leonardo da Vinci programme and coordinated by INETI - Instituto Nacional de Engenharia e Tecnologia Industrial – in Lisbon. 2.-0 LCA consultants is a core partner with particular responsibility for work package 1 – Analysis of needs, best practice and knowledge; definition of contents, formats and objectives of training products.
Training products (courses and materials) on the technical and socio-dynamic know-how for Local Agenda 21 implementation are the main aim of the project. Additional objectives are:
- To contribute to filling the gap in training on sustainability related topics;
- To contribute to the operationalisation of Sustainable Development at local level;
- To increase the offer of training for life-long learning using ICT / e-learning methods;
- To contribute to increased adoption of active citizenship and social and professional inclusion (towards new governance models).
